Claremore Artist Celebrates 100th Anniversary of County Fair

Caleb Parris artworkClaremore artist, Caleb Parris, was commissioned by the Rogers County Fair Board to compose an original chalk art drawing for the 2014 Rogers County Fair to commemorate the 100th Anniversary. The original artwork will be auctioned at the 2014 Rogers County Junior Premium Auction on Monday, September 15th at 7:00pm at the Claremore Expo Center.

A graduate of Rogers State University where he earned a BFA in Fine Arts, Caleb regularly provides chalk art to Church on the Move and Claremore Boy Scout Troop #828.  Caleb is a life-long resident of Claremore, son of Robert and Teresa Parris, and works as a Children’s Rehab Counselor at Grand Lake Mental Health Center.

T-shirts designed with the artwork are available; you can pre-order until August 28th. There will also be some available during the Fair, which is September 11-14 at the Claremore Expo Center.
