Claremore Trails Get a Facelift

Thanks to a group of hardworking Claremore folks, the Claremore Mountain Bike Trail is looking pretty fancy.

Last Saturday, September 27, a group of volunteers slipped on their coveralls, grabbed their tools, and headed to the trail for a work day.

Here’s a breakdown of the day:

Thanks to Adventure Signs, there are new signs marking both the entrance and the trailhead.

Thanks to the volunteers, the trails are now mapped and have way finding signs. Which is good, because getting lost isn’t fun.

The trails are now ready for you to check out, whether you want to bike, hike or run. The committee (Josh Froman, Brandon Irby, Travis Ward and Nathan Kuykendall) is excited about this new venture and wants to share their love of the outdoors with everyone. They’d like to thank their sponsors: Adventure Signs, Studio Coffee Co., City of Claremore Parks and Rec, and Fastenal Claremore.

Thanks to the volunteers for giving Claremore just one more fun activity!

The Claremore Mountain Bike Trail is located east of Claremore Lake on 470 Road, near the entrance to Happy Lake. Better trails, better life!
