There is a group of retired sewing ladies in Rogers County who call themselves the Krazy Stitchers. They are doing a lot of good things, as they make weighted blankets for children with autism. The blankets are filled with poly pellets, and the weight of the blanket is a calming influence.
The Krazy Stitchers use their own time and material to make the blankets, but are asking for help paying for the pellets. One bag of pellets makes three blankets and costs $75.
