Donated Paint and Some Love Make Claremore Nonprofit Shine

The Rogers County Literacy Council is based in the Will Rogers Library in Claremore. It’s a small space where a lot of big things happen. There is a common area where tutors can meet with their students, and a back office for executive director Edel Godwin. It’s functional, if a bit cramped. lit1

Then Edel met Sue Ramirez, who is the general manager of Lowe’s Claremore. Each year, the store chooses two goodwill projects, and this year, the Literacy Council was the recipient of an office makeover.
