Claremore Community Food Pantry is Up and Running

Hey, Rogers County! Let’s get fired up about our latest project! Our Community Food Pantry was officially launched today. Rogers County Sheriff’s deputies have placed two (2) large cabinets inside the front entrance to our Amos G. Ward Detention Building, at the NW corner of First Street and Cherokee Street (white building with flags flying in front of it). A special thanks to Stephanie and Jared Bennett, who donated the two custom-made cabinets, which will be used to stock non-perishable food and personal hygiene items.

Rogers County residents Jessica Tiblow and her son, River, were nice enough to help us kick off donations by bringing a large assortment of detergents, soaps, shampoos, body lotions, and other personal hygiene items. Pictured are Detective Sergeant Chase Cornish, Undersheriff Jon Sappington, Detention Officer Austin Fullerton, Chief Deputy Shane Rhames, Office Receptionist Glenda Johnson, Sheriff Scott Walton, Jessica Tiblow, River, and Administrative Assistant Susie Jones.
