Thanks to a partnership between four key entities, parents and teachers at Will Rogers Junior High will enjoy a smooth, beautiful parking lot this year.
At more than 15 years old, the parking lot was in pretty sad shape. What happened next was a perfect asphalt storm, in which the City of Claremore, Rogers County, Cherokee Nation, and Claremore Public Schools worked together to make a huge project come together.
With manpower, heavy equipment, and funds coming from various groups, the parking lot is newly paved and striped and ready for a new school year.
Special thanks to Jim Thomas, Dan DeLozier, Keith Austin, and Bryan Frazier.
