Claremore Public Schools Foundation Grant Patrol!

Through private donations and fundraising, the Claremore Public Schools Foundation (CPSF) has been able to bestow grants semi-annually since 1988. This year CPSF awarded just over $28,000 in grants ranging from iPads and Chromebooks to lesson plan enhancers and hands-on learning tools.

Board members took to the streets for “Grant Patrol” to surprise those selected to receive grants. Each recipient was required to apply for a grant, but does not find out if it was awarded until the Grant Patrol shows up at their school! This year, a new but already familiar face joined the team on their mission. Superintendent Bryan Frazier came along to help deliver the good news.

Bryan Frazier said, “Having this unique support system that helps improve not only our schools, but our teacher’s ability to educate at a higher level, is a true blessing.”

All six school campuses (Catalayah, Claremont, Westside, Roosa, CHS and WRJH) and the Robson Performing Arts Center were represented. A total of 13 educators were awarded their full or partial grant requests for 2017-2018.
