Wyatt Hancock delivered care packages to patients at the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute.
Students at Oologah High School need your help to fight cancer. For the second year, students are organizing a cancer care pack event with the National Honor Society and FFA members. Last year, they packed over 500 care packs. Students will assemble the care packs on December 20th at Oologah High School. The care packs will be donated to the non-profit organization, Tenaciously Teal, and delivered later this week to cancer fighters going through chemotherapy at treatment centers in Tulsa. The organization delivers over 300 care packs each month to cancer patients across Oklahoma who are going through chemotherapy.
Care pack items can be dropped off at the Oologah High School office or you text Oologah Senior Wyatt Hancock at 918-899-6275. Items needed include:
protein/granola bars • word search puzzle books • Gatorade/Powerade • note cards ,• travel size hand lotion • travel size hand sanitizer • travel size Kleenex • journal for writing • green tea • lip balm • fuzzy socks
