RoCo Fit Starts in August: Get Moving, Claremore!

RoCo Fit is the BEST way to get off the couch. I’m not kidding. As a veteran member of this FREE group in Claremore, I can personally attest to the fact that it will get you moving, it will hold you accountable, you will meet new friends, and you will learn to love (or at least tolerate) running.

If you’re not a runner, that’s okay! They have plenty of walking groups, too.

RoCo Fit is a FREE Couch-to-5k program hosted by the Claremore Health Department. They meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 6p at Claremore Lake for 12 weeks. At the end, participants will run or walk a 5k! And best of all, it doesn’t cost you a penny. You can even score a free shirt if you meet the requirements!

The fall session begins on August 7 at 6p. Show up at the Lake Park and look for a big group of people gathering under a pavilion. The first session, you will walk/run one mile. After that, workouts will use interval training to increase speed and distance. It’s totally doable, I promise you.

Your first step is to fill out the pre-season survey HERE, then the registration form HERE.
