Claremore Scouts Send Care Packages to Troops

Claremore-Sequoyah’s Pack 238 recently gathered donations and packed boxes to send to local troops serving overseas. Meeting on a Sunday afternoon, the boys and their families worked hard to fill the boxes, completing each one with a handwritten card. Making the packages even more special is who they’re being delivered to; they’ll go to members of the 138th FW out of Tulsa, who welcomed the pack on a special tour of the base just a couple of months ago. The kids are excited to send boxes to the same men and women who showed them jets and fire trucks!

Thank you to everyone who donated supplies and to the Claremore Church of the Nazarene for continually donating facilities for the pack.
