The Claremore Super Recreation Center has been busy expanding their class schedule! Group fitness classes are available for all levels and interests. They offer several traditional classes such as step aerobics, cycle, and kickboxing, as well as boot camp, line dancing, and Zumba. If you’d like something a little quieter, try yoga or pilates. Classes are available early, mid-day, and in the evening, perfect for a stop on your way home from work. They even have weekend classes!
Beginning in October, there will also be Happy Half Hour classes from 12:45p – 1:15p. You can work out on your lunch break! Offerings are yoga, kickboxing, and boot camp. The classes are different each day. Cost is $2 per class, or are included in a regular aerobic membership.
Of course, the rec center also has a large weight room, basketball and tennis courts, racquetball, an indoor track, and a pool. Feel free to bring the kids to enjoy the supervised childcare facility.
