There’s Plenty to Do in Claremore in February!

There is plenty of celebrating going on in Claremore during the month of February! 

First up is the Rogers State University Home on the Hill Basketball Homecoming! On Saturday February 11^th plan to attend the Homecoming festivities at the Claremore Expo Center. There will be free food, photo opportunities, a coloring contest, and games. The Hillcats will tip off at noon with the Homecoming ceremonies taking place during the Men’s halftime. Come out and cheer on our Hillcats and watch as the homecoming King and Queen are crowned.

February 18^th is the next fun happening in Claremore that you don’t want to miss! The 59^th Annual GRIDIRON themed “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” will be held at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum Theatre. Tickets for this evening of poking fun at the unfortunate events in Claremore are now on sale at claremore.org.  This year’s show is presented by Helt Heating and Air while the After-Party is sponsored by Waymark Advisors. 

Our friends at J Farley’s invite you to celebrate with them on February 18^th.  J Farley’s, which is located at 820 S. Lynn Riggs Blvd., will celebrate five spectacular years of business! They will have food and drink specials, along with music from some of the finest musicians in Northeastern Oklahoma. Grab a bite to eat and congratulate another local business on five wonderful years of serving our great community!

The month of February is also when the Rogers County Fair kicks off their Spring activities! First up is the Livestock Show on February 4^th at the Claremore Expo Center. Next, they will host the Aggie Olympics on Friday, February 17^th followed by the Spring Horse Show on February 18^th & 19^th, all of which will be held at the Claremore Expo Center!
