Claremore FFA Earns National Award

ffaThe Claremore FFA Chapter was recently selected as a 3 Star National Chapter by the National FFA Organization. Through a lengthy and tedious application process, chapters are ranked on overall level of success in three areas. They are community development, chapter development and student development. Based on its high level of participation and success in these three areas, the Claremore FFA Chapter received the highest award that an FFA chapter can receive. Each chapter receives a 1 star, 2 star or 3 star ranking and only 28 chapters in the entire state of Oklahoma received the esteemed 3 star ranking. It is because of the high quality of students, dedication and support from community leaders that the Claremore FFA chapter was able to reach this milestone. They will be traveling to Louisville, Kentucky, to the National FFA Convention, to receive the official award in October. The Claremore FFA chapter consists of 165 students that range from the 8th grade to the 12th grade and the chapter advisors are Mr. Matt Boyer and Ms. Jessalyn Schrock.
