Martha Ann Koger
Memorial service for Martha Ann Koger will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Martha passed away at home with her family by her side on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 at the age of 76.
Martha Ann (Fry) Koger was born June 9, 1939 in Asher, Oklahoma to Buck William and Nettie (Hedgepath) Fry. She graduated from Claremore High School with the class of 1957. Martha loved and cared for many children through the years working in childcare. She was very active in several civic activities, including the Firefighter’s Ladies Auxiliary, Oklahoma City Blazer’s Booster Club and the Boy and Girl Scout Clubs. Martha loved her family and kept close to the Koger side as well.
A loving mother, sister and friend, Martha will be missed by all she knew. Those family members that survive include her son Kenny Koger and wife Laura; her grandsons Jacob Koger, Christopher Koger and wife Laura and Josh Powell; her brother Jerry Fry and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bud Fry and Alan Fry and her sister Freda Thompson, sister-in-law Lynn Fry and nephew Johnny Holden Fry.
