An evening of vision and direction for the future of Claremore will take place on Thursday, January 21st, at the Will Rogers Memorial from 5:30pm-7:30pm as a lineup of top talent launches a young professionals association.

Claremore Collective is a group of young professionals assembled as one voice to move the city forward. The association is organized into work crews, each with a specific purpose for improving the quality of life in Claremore. Every crew holds monthly meetings, organizes initiatives, hosts events, and promotes volunteer opportunities.

“At the heart of the matter is the future we see for Claremore,” said Brandon Irby, Chair of the inaugural Claremore Collective Leadership Team and Associate Director for Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority. “The talent we have recruited into leadership to launch this endeavor is impressive. It’s exciting to join forces with so many who have a passion for moving our local culture forward.”

Representation from municipal government, county government, major employers, small business owners, and civic organizations have come together to form the inaugural Leadership Team.

The team consists of Matt Ballard, Carla Battle, Ryan Eaton, Sarah Fiegener, Josh Froman, Brandon Irby, Jeri Koehler, Jacob Krumwiede, Ben Lepak, Katelyn Tittle, Chris Walker and Brad Ward. Crystal Campbell has been named as the Executive Director.

“There are so many wonderful opportunities in our community, the possibilities are almost mind-boggling. I am excited by the momentum we have and have great expectations for what we will accomplish,” said Campbell.

Campbell said she encourages anyone who is interested or curious about the group to sign up for pre-launch information at their website and make plans to attend the launch on January 21st.
