Earlier this month, Claremont Elementary celebrated literacy night by changing the school into a Polar Express wonderland. Principal Fay served as the conductor, greeting parents and children at the front door.
Each area of the school was decorated and gave the kids a chance to make crafts and do activities. There was storytelling, pizza and even selfies with Santa. This annual event helps promote the importance of literacy in our community and coincides with the book fair at Claremont.
