Claremore Business Acquires 11 New Stores on East Coast: Wowza!

 

spectrumSpectrum Paint East, LLC.  has acquired the assets of Benjamin Moore’s Virginia Paint and Decorating Centers.   The 11 stores are located primarily around the Richmond and Tidewater region with additional locations in Williamsburg, Fredericksburg and just outside of Lynchburg in the town of Forest.   These stores have been owned by Benjamin Moore for approximately 15 years, but have been in existence since 1954.

The stores open as Spectrum Paint on Monday, Feb. 1st, 2016.  They will continue to carry quality Benjamin Moore Paints.  In addition, Spectrum will add PPG Pittsburgh Paints, their own brands, SPEC-PRO and SPEC-ONE, and additional lacquers, stains and specialty coatings from other manufacturers.  Spectrum celebrates 30 years in business on Feb. 3rd, 2016.

“We are excited about extending our presence on the east coast,” said Travis Detter, Spectrum Paint president.  “This will bring our store count to 68 overall and to 26 stores in the eastern states of NC, SC and VA.”
