Susan Kirtley and Crystal Campbell, both of Claremore, received the Family and Community Service Award from the Rotary Club of Claremore for their volunteer work in the Claremore area.
The Rotary Family and Community Service Award is presented to non-Rotarians who demonstrate outstanding service to families and communities.
The Claremore Rotary Club recognized Susan Kirtley for her extensive involvement in the Claremore community. Kirley is a member of several local organizations, such as the Rogers County Free Medical Clinic Board, Will Rogers Memorial Museum and Birthplace Ranch Docent, Claremont Elementary Library, United Way Holiday Boutique committee, the Rogers State University Foundation Scholarship Auction committee, the Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo, the Chamber of Commerce Bluegrass and Chili Festival and Friends of the Library.
Crystal Campbell is the past Executive Director of the Claremore Collective; a group of young professionals focusing on helping improved the City of Claremore in areas, such as Arts and Entertainment, City Development, Government Relations and Next Gen Leadership. Campbell is involved with the Claremore Public Schools Foundation and is the driving force behind the Will Rogers Park Project.
