Rogers County 4-H Horse Club had several members recognized at the 2016 State 4-H Horse Show at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, OK.  Members qualified from the district to participate in this state event, which includes 4-H horse members from across the state.

Rogers County came home with nine Champions, four Reserve Champions and several in the top 10. This is more than any other county in the state!

Rogers County 4-H Horse Club members learn life skills through their horse project work and community service projects. Members are responsible for care and training of their horses, while also competing in horse judging, speeches and quiz bowl. Rogers County 4-H Horse Club had the Champion Quiz Bowl Team and Horse Judging Team, which qualifies them to compete in the AQHYA World Show in August.

The Rogers County 4-H Horse Club has regular ride nights and meets on the second Monday of the month at the Rogers County Building at 7:00pm. For more 4-H enrollment information, please contact the OSU Extension Office at 918-923-4958.
