Claremore Manufacturing Young Professional Recognized as Emerging Leader

Oklahoma’s emerging manufacturing leaders were honored Tuesday as part of the 2016 Dream It Do It kickoff breakfast. The event, focused on engaging educators, manufacturers, workforce partners and students to create new interest in innovative and rewarding manufacturing careers.

Phil B. Albert, president of Pelco Structural, was the keynote speaker. Albert holds over 27 years of executive operating experience and began his career working for an accounting firm in Tulsa before moving to manufacturing in 1981. Albert spent 23 years at JEM Engineering, the last 10 years as president. In 2005, Albert and a partner, Phil Parduhn, opened Pelco Structural LLC in Claremore to engineer and manufacture transmission, traffic lighting, sports lighting, cellular transmission, signing and substation structures.

Dream It Do It Oklahoma invited area manufacturing employers to nominate “Emerging Manufacturing Leaders” in their company, who are under 40 years of age and show great potential in their manufacturing career. This year’s recipients include Raul Rodriguez with APSCO, Jeremy Dearman with TD Willamson, Blake Johnson with TD Williamson, Casey Maddoux with Linde, Josh Burton with EBSCO, Nick Dooley with EBSCO, Carrie Taylor with NPI, Luke Ellsworth with NORDAM and James Kmetz with OCV.

Others recipients are John Butler with Paccar, Taber Cope with NOV, Keith Valentine with Muncie Power, Steven Doughman with Big Elk Energy, Shon Boyd with Baker Hughes, Matt Zinter with OSECO, JK Evicks with The Bama Cos. and Travis Kinnemann with CF Industries.

Dream It Do It Oklahoma facilitates classroom visits, tours and other activities, as well as internship opportunities for students. Dream It Do It Oklahoma will again host activities throughout Manufacturing Week, Oct 3-7.
