ER Senior Management OK, an operator of upscale senior living communities, announced today that it has assumed management of two skilled nursing facilities (SNF) in Claremore: Autumn Wood, a 60-bed skilled nursing community for memory care residents, and Wood Manor, a 129-bed skilled nursing facility. Both facilities are located on the same campus.
Autumn Wood opened its doors in 2012 to provide the highest level of skilled nursing care exclusively to those with advanced Alzheimer’s disease and dementia and requiring specialized care. Today it is one of only three such specialized skilled nursing facilities in the state.
A 60-bed SNF, Autumn Wood is unique for its neighborhood-style living in groups of 12 private rooms, each with a private bath. The design contributes to a greater quality of life with individualized care, but without the institutional feel of a traditional nursing home. As such, it is also more memory-friendly for those with dementia-related issues. Autumn Wood accepts private pay and Medicare.
Built in 2006, Wood Manor is a 129-bed SNF that offers modern rehabilitation suites for both short-term rehabilitation as well as long-term care for seniors. Wood Manor is also specially equipped to accommodate those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Wood Manor accepts private pay, some private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid.
