Students at Rogers State University are working hard to recruit Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder, to Claremore. He is launching a tour of the 50 states and we want him to come to RSU!
Tad Jones, Will Rogers Memorial Museums executive director, drew on comparisons of Mark Zuckerberg and Will Rogers in an RSU YouTube video in an effort to get Zuckerberg to make Claremore and RSU his stop on his quest to visit all the United States.
“Will Rogers, every day, typed out what he was doing that day – maybe what he had to eat, what person he talked to or what political idea he had – and the entire country wanted to know what Will Rogers had to say every single day,” Jones said. “Like Zuckerberg’s Facebook, Will Rogers dominated the media,” he said.
