Partners in Education expands to Oologah Public Schools

The Partners in Education program officially expanded into Oologah Public Schools. Public Service Company of Oklahoma, an AEP company, became the thirteenth corporate sponsor of the program.

“PSO is excited to formalize our ongoing partnership with Oologah Public through the Partners in Education program,” said Michael Gordon, External Affairs Manager, Northeast Oklahoma for PSO. “This partnership is much more than a financial investment, it is an investment in the academic and personal growth of Oologah students, as well as laying the foundation for future career pathways.”

The Partners in Education program is a joint effort between the Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority and Rogers County to connect students and teachers with corporate and civic leaders. These partnerships fulfill student needs, provides additional income to schools and allows the county as a whole to further succeed through a clearly stated and shared mission.

Through this program, companies are recognized as critical part of education in the community, while reaping the rewards of helping develop the next generation of workforce in Rogers County. These partnerships assist educators in providing a holistic educational approach for students, while involving the community in the investment of its economic future.
