The Rogers County Literacy Council is hosting “Open Minds Training” for tutors on Saturday, November 11, from 8:30a – 5p. The class will be held at the Rogers County Building (416 S. Brady).
Train to be a volunteer tutor to help adults improve their literacy skills. Volunteers meet weekly with an assigned learner to improve reading and writing skills.
A refundable deposit of $35 is required to secure your place in training. It will be returned upon completion of the course.
