We had a staff meeting yesterday, and naturally, the teacher walkout came up in conversation. I mentioned that I had received a letter from my son’s teacher asking me to please contact the legislators, but I hadn’t done it, because I didn’t know what to say. Surely they’re getting pummeled with emails and they wouldn’t read mine, so what to do? How can I help?
Now we have an answer! It’s simple and just takes a few clicks. You can use the form letter or you can write your own. Personally, mine was a mixture of the two, because I’m pretty clueless about politics and don’t know all of the bill numbers and such. But this way is easy, and the complicated part is done for you.
No matter your stance, it’s always good to contact your legislators if you want your voice to be heard.
