Claremore Police Department is hosting National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7. This is a community event designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, generate support for local anticrime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and encourage community-police partnerships.
National Night Out will be held at Claremore Lake Park from 6p – 8:30p. There will be tons of activities for kids and families alike, including live music by Travis Kidd, fun and play features for the children, free drinks, snow-cones, and good food from “Mercy Chefs” mobile kitchen. Claremore Police Officers will be on-hand to answer any questions and to interact with anyone interested in promoting safety and security within our community.
Everyone is welcome! You might even want to make a run through the splash pad while you’re there.
