Optimist Club of Claremore Hosts 43rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Optimist Club of Claremore will be joined by the Easter Bunny to fill and hide thousands of eggs on the rolling hillside of Will Rogers Memorial Museum for the annual hunt on Saturday, April 20.

Youngsters 10 and younger will swarm the grounds after the starting shot is sounded promptly at 11:30 a.m. In addition to the fun of running around the Museum grounds, from the top of the hill to the bottom, children will be searching the eggs for candy and prize tickets. Two will find a ticket for a bicycle, said Gene Smith, Optimist and event planner.

Optimist Club has been the official host for the Easter Egg Hunt in Claremore for many years with generous support of Claremore businesses and individuals, Smith said.

Extra parking is available north of the Memorial Museum (on the north side of Blue Starr at the corner of Blue Starr and Highway 88). Please avoid the roped off area of soft ground. Volunteer crossing guards will be available to help manage traffic.
