The Rogers County Emergency Management Office is teaming up with the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office to host a Community Flood Emergency Assistance Event for Rogers County on Tuesday June 4th, 2019. The event will be from 12:00 pm until 7:00 pm. It will be held in the Rogers County Building in front of the Claremore Expo located at 416 S. Brady. We will have multiple local volunteer organizations and county officials available to answer questions and offer potential assistance to those individuals that may have been impacted by the recent floods and storms.
We will be assisting our citizens in gathering information for the State Emergency Management Office. We will assist and provide resources to input the information into damage.ok.gov. Please pass this information along.
Earlier this morning, Layla Freeman (Light of Hope), RCSO Maj Coy Jenkins, Tim McHugh (Claremore First United Methodist Church), Angie Graves (Salvation Army), Nancy Phelps (Light of Hope), and Scotty Stokes (Rogers County Emergency Management Director), met, planned, and developed the “COMMUNITY FLOOD EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE EVENT FOR ROGERS COUNTY”.
Organizations that will be on hand to assist and answer questions include but not limited to. Light Of Hope, United Methodist Disaster Relief, Salvation Army, RoCo Health Dept, OSU Extension Office, Southern Baptist Disaster relief, RoCo Planning Commission, RoCo Assesors Office.
