Hillcrest Claremore recently completed renovations to 21 Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) patient rooms and bathrooms.
Improvements include new showers and restrooms. The bathrooms were opened up to create more space and walls were redone. Marble and tile were installed, as well as new mirrors and lighting. Also, new lighting was added over beds and flooring installed in rooms and the Med/Surg hallways.
Additional updates include new windows, chair rails and paint. A color scheme was selected to stay on theme with Hillcrest’s branding, so there are accents walls with complimentary coloring. Lastly, new HVAC was installed on the second floor and now all Med/Surg patient rooms are temperature controlled.
“Previously, the rooms had a very dated look so we wanted to give them a refresh,” said David Chaussard, CEO of Hillcrest Claremore. “We value our patients’ comfort, and we want the look, feel and quality of the rooms to reflect the quality of care they will receive from our staff every day.”
