RSU Ranked #25 In United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll

The Rogers State Men’s Soccer team climbed back into the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Men’s National Top 25 Poll this week, coming in at No. 25, announced the organization on Tuesday.

Rogers State (6-2-1, 3-2 GAC) is riding a three-game win streak that has included a pair of shutout victories, outscoring opponents 10-2, since falling out of the poll two weeks ago.

The Hillcats are coming off of a 2-0 victory at Northeastern State this past week, in a battle that featured a pair of teams that were receiving votes in last week’s poll.

Rogers State, who made its debut in the rankings at No. 21 following the opening week of the season, climbed to No. 15 after a 3-0-1 start. The Hillcats then dropped two consecutive games to fall out of the poll after week three. The Hillcats received votes in last week’s poll and move back into the rankings for the third time this season.

The Hillcats are set to put the No. 25 ranking on the line twice this week, first with a home game against Harding on Thursday. The Bison are receiving votes in this week’s poll. Rogers State will close out the week with a road trip to Ouachita Baptist on Saturday.
