Who Won the Salvation Army Bell Ringing Contest?

The Rogers County Sheriff’s Office retains title as winner of the annual Salvation Army Rogers County bell ringing contest among Emergency Service Agencies. As the group that raised the most money, they will have the honor of retaining in their procession the traveling trophy for this year.

“The success of our group was due to the wonderful people in the community who stopped by, visited and tossed money into the bucket,” said Major Coy Jenkins.

Agencies participating, in addition to the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office, included members of the Claremore Fire Department, Claremore Police Department and Pafford EMS. Each agency rang the bell on a given day during one week of the campaign.

“Congratulations to the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office for winning the contest again this year. Also, we want to thank all of the agencies that participate in this contest each year.  We can’t thank them enough for their dedication of service to our community,” said Jerry Hayes, Event Manager.

The trophy is sponsored by Reasor’s.
