On Saturday, Feb. 1, the Claremore Public Schools Foundation (CPSF) hosted the 11th Annual Brainiac Brawl and Auction at the Claremore Conference Center.

The event hosted 36 teams of eight in a spirited night of food and fun. Participants enjoyed high stakes trivia and delicious offerings from Hammett House.  At the end of the night, over $24,000 was raised to fund educational enhancements for Claremore Public Schools.

The event included silent and live auctions with something for everyone. “Our community is so generous and supportive of our schools,” said Amy Evans, CPSF Executive Director.

All teams competed in six rounds of trivia ranging from geography, history, math, pop culture, music, sports and more. The team, “iBrawl,” came out on top this year and will be etched in history on the traveling trophy.

The Taylor Foster “Force Majeure” secured the Table Bucks Battle competition for their efforts as the table raising the most funds to support the Claremore Public Schools Foundation.

Patrick Gotcher was the master of ceremonies and Dr. Steve Hardage kept the crowd entertained with a huge game of “Heads or Tails” at one point during the night.

Brainiac Brawl was sponsored by the 2019-20 CPSF Partners: Advanced Orthopedics of Oklahoma, BancFirst, Cherokee Nation, CF Industries, Jack Kissee Ford, Highfill Properties, Hillcrest Hospital – Claremore, ImageNet Consulting, Nees Realty, The Print Shop, RCB Bank, Red Crown Credit Union, Rescue Heat and Air, Steve and Pam Robinson, Robson Properties, Rogers County Abstract, Smalygo Auto Wholesale, Bill and Phyllis Snyder, Spectrum Paint, TTCU, Mick & Audrey Webber and Whataburger.
