The Rogers County Fair returns to the Claremore Expo Center September 17-20. Of course, the fair will look a bit different this year, but the fair board is determined to keep things on track for all of the hardworking kids who have been preparing for the livestock arena and 4-H presentations over the course of the past year.
The fair will kick off on Thursday, September 17, with the fireworks show.
Livestock will still be shown, but not all of the animals will be in the barn at the same time for the duration. For example, all swine will be shown on one day, all cattle on another day, etc. There will be no rabbit show this year at all, due to another virus that is affecting rabbits.
The indoor hall will still be open, but vendors will be limited, and items sold will be primarily Made in Oklahoma products. And don’t worry, you can still see the giant pumpkins!
The carnival will still be open with rides and games. Carnival employees will wear masks and have temperatures checked before each shift. Riders will be seated in every other row.
The kids zone will be open, but with limited activities to prevent germs. Little ones can still enjoy fun entertainment, like the bubble show!
Cirque Adventure is a new attraction this year. It’s a high-flying circus act which is guaranteed to wow spectators!
