Registration Open for Will’s Wild West Kids Camp!

Will’s Wild West Kids Camp will take on a new format this year with three days of activities at the Will Rogers Memorial June 21-23. Hands-on projects will help children, ages 5-12,  relate to life on the western frontier in the time of Will Rogers, born in 1879.

Registrations are being taken now for the programs, which run from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., ending with a chuck wagon lunch. Cost is $45 per child ($30 for members) which includes a cowboy hat, shirt, rope and crafts. For registration information, visit WillRogers.com and click on Wild West Kids Camp under Education/Kids. Space is limited with registration deadline June 13.

Days are packed with memorable events including 19th-century activities, crafts, nature programs, storytelling, cowboy magician, period dancing, Pony Express and train rides and more, according to Stephanie Hunter, education and activities manager.
