ZipperQ 10 will Return on October 2!

Claremore’s favorite family-friendly barbecue throwdown returns to the Claremore Expo parking lot on Saturday, October 2, from 4p – 7p. Teams will compete for the victory plates in a variety of categories. Team registration goes live at ZipperQ.com on August 1!

Tasting kits will be available for $10 each, and unlimited beer is also just $10. Attendees can enjoy free kids’ games, soda and water, and live music by Trett Charles.

This year, there will also be a raffle for a Hasty Bake grill! Tickets are just $10 each.

Shirts will be available as pre-orders only, so don’t miss out!

Proceeds raised from ZipperQ help fund medical research for Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva, or FOP. Claremore’s own Zip Gordon is affected by this rare disease, along with just 800 other people around the globe. ZipperQ is a primary fundraiser in the search for a cure, topping the one-million dollar mark in 2019. In 2020, with Covid-19 in full swing, teams cooked on their own at home and still managed to raise $26k for a cure. Read about 2020 ZipperQ HERE!

Claremore is an amazing community and has always stepped up in a major way in the fight against FOP. Let’s do it again! We’ll see you on October 2!
