Rogers State Athletics will be celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day at the women’s basketball game on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the Claremore Expo Center.
As part of the national celebration, Hillcat Athletics is inviting all girls sports teams 12 and under to sign up for free admission to the women’s basketball game against Washburn. Parents and families of the athletes can receive $5 tickets to the games.
Teams looking to reserve a spot at the game should contact Assistant Athletic Director Grant Farris at gfarris@rsu.edu.
The Hillcat women’s basketball team will tip off against Washburn at 5:30 p.m.
National Girls and Women in Sports Day is sponsored by the Women’s Sports Foundation. The organization began the celebration 36 years ago to inspire girls and women to play and be active, to realize their full power. The confidence, strength and character gained through sports participation are the very tools girls and women need to become strong leaders in sports and life.
