The Indian Women Pocahontas Club would like to introduce their officers for 2022: President Celeste Tillery, Vice-President Monta Ewing, Secretary Linda Coleman, and Treasurer Alice Meledeo.
The Indian Women’s Pocahontas Club is an active, long-standing institution in our community, and they are looking forward to hosting their many annual events, such as the Old-Fashioned Picnic at the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch in May and the Hats Off to Will celebration during Will Rogers Days in November.
The club’s next upcoming event is the Wild Onion Feast, which will be held March 19 from 12p – 2p at First United Methodist Church (1615 N. Hwy. 88).
The club would like to thank the Oklahoma Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts and the many individuals who support, encourage, and help them achieve their scholarship goals and bring cultural awareness to our community.
