Senior Jordan Ewig has been named MIAA Pitcher of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
The Fallbrook, Calif. native was dominant on the mound in the Hillcats 11-0 win over Fort Hays State in the first game of the three-game series. Ewig earned the complete game shutout in 7.0 innings only allowing one hit and striking out 15 batters, which is the most in the program’s Division II era and the second most in school history.
