Please mark your calendars for June 25th from 6 to 8PM. The MoH will be hosting another great event. We will have a tent in our park and will be serving refreshments. We’ve planned live music with all of Patti’s hits being performed and of course, will be showcasing our newly expanded Patti Page Exhibit.
Our loan of current items from the Oklahoma Historical Society has been extended, and we are proud to say that Patti’s nephew – Timothy Akers, has also loaned us many new items that has allowed us to expand our current exhibit. The MoH has personally acquired several Patti Page items through the years and are excited to showcase our new collection.
We’ve also created a multi-media video collection that documents Patti’s life from growing up in Claremore through her amazing career and later years. Patti Page is a treasure not just to Claremore, but to Oklahoma and music fans all over the world. If you plan to attend, please go to the MoH’s Facebook Event and mark that you will be attending to help us plan for food and beverages. The evening will be one you won’t want to miss!
