Downtown Claremore’s newest art piece is complete! Sponsored by the Cherokee Nation, the mural is located on the south exterior wall of Main Street Tavern and features notable Cherokee Nation citizens from Claremore. They are Cherokee Chief J.B. Milam, Admiral Jocko Clark, Maggie Culver Fry, Andy Payne, Lynn Riggs, and Clem McSpadden.
A formal ribbon cutting will be held on Thursday, June 23, at 5 p.m.
