Lyndsay Brooke Strickland, a devoted mother & loving wife, left this world suddenly on August 7th, 2022 at the young age of 35. She was born to Mark and Jana Hartman in Tulsa, OK on July 30th, 1987.
Lyndsay graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 2005. While there she enjoyed performing on the Tigette Drill Team. Lyndsay’s love of dancing began at the young age of 5 years old at the Oklahoma Performing Arts studio where she took classes in ballet, tap and jazz and eventually joined the competitive squad. In her younger years, she was a member of several cheerleading teams and enjoyed that up until high school.
Lyndsay welcomed her daughter, Brooklyn Leigh Phelan, on November 15th, 2007. She was the pride and joy of her life. She met her husband, Josh Strickland in 2013 and the two married on September 26th, 2015 on her grandparents’ property in Talala.
Lyndsay was truly an amazing woman. She had a way of lighting up the room. She loved her family more than words can express and she always made sure they were taken care of. She had a way about her that made you feel like you could tell her anything and was always there to listen. Lyndsay was loved deeply by all who knew her. She was the heart of her family and will be missed dearly.
