We absolutely love doing FALL at the Museum of History. From our decorations outside to all of the events we have lined up for our friends over the next few months, it all adds up to a season you don’t want to miss. Bring your family and friends and take in all we are offering. It’s Fall, y’all!

Saturday, October 29 from 10AM to 4PM

It’s a Hocus Pocus kind of Halloween party at the museum. Looking for a great time for your kids or grandkids? We have Halloween sacks all ready with treats fit for the Sanderson sisters, along with candy at each station. We will be showing a movie, will have unlimited popcorn, cookies and snacks along with a prize for the best costumes at 1PM for kids and grown-ups alike. Learn about our local history while your whole family is having fun.

Saturday, November 5 from 10AM to 4PM

It’s happening – MoH is hosting our Annual Native American Art Show. We have three wonderful Rt 66 Native Arts Alliance artists that will be showcasing paintings, basketry and pottery all day long. The Pocahontas Club will be stopping by to help us commemorate the city proclamation of Native American Day that afternoon. We will have plenty of snacks so drop by to find that perfect piece of art to display in your home or get a head start on your gift list for the holidays!

Friday and Saturday, November 18 and 19 from 6 to 9PM

Back by popular demand, Claremore Museum of History will be hosting our 3rd Annual Reindeer Games. Stop by and feed the reindeer in the park, get the perfect picture for this year’s holiday card and then come inside for all the fun! While the kids frolic with all of our “reindeer” antics and crafts, try some of our famous Christmas Vacation eggnog right out of the Moose Punchbowl. Oh yeah, we will be showing the classic Rudolph!
