Jess B. Gibson was born July 18, 1939 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He passed from this life to be with our Lord on December 9, 2022. He was 83 years old.
Jess lived in Tulsa and later in Claremore most of his life with his loving wife Martha Ann Gibson. Jess lived a life full to the brim with love, family, and laughter. He was completely and totally devoted to his family. His family meant everything to him. All of the children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren knew, and never doubted his unconditional love, support and unfailing encouragement. He always made sure we knew he loved us all “10 times”.
He was cherished, respected and deeply loved by his family.
He was an excellent auto mechanic most of his life. He loved to work on cars. In his younger days he owned a shipping business in Tulsa. He loved to play guitar and sing. He was a handsome, tall, strong-willed and determined man.
Jess was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ann Gibson; parents, Jess B. Gibson Sr., and Bessie (Williams) Gibson; granddaughter, Katie Jo Wiley.
He is survived by his daughters; JoAnn Clay, and Janet Jones, grandchildren; Joshua Wiley, Jessica McCabe and April Wiley, great grandchildren; Abby Wiley, Ella McCabe, Evelyn McCabe and Ewan McCabe.
He was loved by all who knew him, and will be missed dearly.
