Festivities kick off on July 1, 2023, with the annual Independence Day Spectacular on Claremore Lake. Come enjoy live music, a flag-raising ceremony, and concessions beginning at 6:30 p.m., with the fireworks show kicking off at 9:30 p.m.
Then join us on July 4 for the Kid’s Fishing Derby at Claremore Lake from 7:00-10:00 a.m. The event is free and open to children ages 4 to 12. Participants will receive a complimentary fishing pole, tackle and bait while supplies last. Trophies will be awarded for the smallest and largest fish in each division. Drawings for bikes and helmets will take place immediately after the trophy presentation.
