Claremore, OK: The Claremore Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present the 20th annual Santa Cash shop local promotion. Officially kicking off on November 1, the campaign runs until December 8.
Santa Cash features local retailers, who give tickets to shoppers based on the amount spent in the store as an incentive to shop locally. This year, 23 sponsors and retailers are participating in hopes of keeping dollars in our community.
On Saturday, December 9, a drawing will be held at the Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs grandstand at 11:00 a.m., and three lucky winners will receive cash prizes! Drawings will be held for one $10,000 check, one $2,500, and one $2,000. Winners must be present. Tickets will not be accepted after 10:45 a.m. at the Saturday drawing.
“Will Rogers Downs is always such a loyal partner for this event,” said Barby Myers, Chamber President & CEO. “It’s a great opportunity for residents to visit the casino, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and maybe be one of our lucky winners. We wouldn’t be able to host Santa Cash without all of our generous sponsors.”
During the week following the in-person drawing, one additional prize of $1,000, courtesy of Baker Hughes, will be given away. The winning ticket number will be posted on the Chamber Facebook page, so be sure to hold on to your tickets until a winner is selected for the final prize.
