She currently serves as president and CEO of the Claremore Area Chamber of Commerce and has held that position since 2018.

Sponsored by RSU’s President’s Leadership Class, the Excellence in Leadership Speaker Series provides leaders the opportunity to share their experiences, insight, and philosophies on leadership with members of the RSU community. Speakers selected come from diverse backgrounds, disciplines, and careers.

The series was developed to help students cultivate leadership skills, examine the components of an effective leader, discover best leadership practices, build a healthy organizational culture, resolve workplace conflict, overcome roadblocks, and use their learned leadership skills to empower others.

This will be the final lecture in this series for the fall 2023 semester.

The President’s Leadership Class is a four-year scholarship program designed to develop a student’s leadership skills and enhance their academic experience, with scholarships available for those in the program. For more information about PLC, visit www.rsu.edu/plc.
