Claremore’s February Events by Visit Claremore

Claremore is full of events and excitement this month. With plenty of happenings throughout
February, we hope that you will join us for one or many of the fun things we have planned in
Claremore!

To start off the month of February, Shepherd’s Cross will hold their annual Winter Barn Sale.
This indoor multifamily garage sale will be held on February 1st, 2nd, and 3rd from 7:00am to
5:30pm and will help support both local and international missions. Be sure to visit the rest of

Next up in the Rogers State University Home on the Hill Basketball Homecoming! On Saturday
February 3rd plan to attend the Homecoming festivities at the Claremore Expo Center. There will be free food, photo opportunities, a coloring contest, and games. The Hillcats will tip off at noon with the Homecoming ceremonies taking place during the Men’s halftime. Come out and cheer on our Hillcats and watch as the homecoming King and Queen are crowned.

The Claremore Museum of History has some great events planned this month! Starting with
their Stargazers Gathering – A Night at the Museum! On February 3rd from 6:00pm – 8:00pm,
the MoH invites you to bring your blankets and gaze at the beautiful night sky as local
astronomy clubs will be on hand with telescopes. Snacks and other activities will be available
inside the museum.

The MoH continues the month with the “I Love you MoH Valentine’s Party”! On February 10th
from 10:00am – 2:00pm the MoH is hosting this kid friendly event with lots of snacks, kid crafts,
a valentine’s movie, and plenty of photo opportunities! For more information on these MoH

The evening of February 10th is the next event happing and this is one you don’t want to miss!
The 60th Annual GRIDIRON! Dinner, A Show, and Dueling Pianos will take place on the
Campus of RSU in the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center Ballroom. Starting at 5:00pm guest can enjoy
a meal, the show, and a cash bar. Get your tickets are claremore.org

Our friends at Vintique Charm invite you to their annual Galentine’s Day Party on February
13th! Their will be cookies, drinks, door prizes and discounts! Plan to stop into Vintique Charm
and grab some goodies! You can also shop anytime at http://www.shopvcbtq.com

The Pink House is not normally open in the evening but on February 14th, you can treat your
special someone to a Valentine’s Day Dinner at the Pink House! From 5:00pm – 8:00 pm you can enjoy a candlelight dinner at one of Claremore’s favorite eateries! Reservations are required

The J.M. Davis Arms and Historical Museum will host their annual Daisy BB Gun Day on
February 10th from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Come out for some target fun and a chance to win a
custom-made Daisy BB Rifle! Adults and Children are welcome to participate with different age categories available for the competition!

The Claremore Chamber of Commerce will hold the Annual State of the City on February 22nd
from 11:30am – 1:00pm. We encourage you to get your tickets today and come listen as our
City Manager talks about where we are as a City and where we are heading! Tickets can be

Last month, Movie Night at the Museum returned to the Will Rogers Memorial Museum! This
month The Movie Night will be on February 23rd with “Ernest Goes to Jail” as the featured film.
Enjoy a free movie and popcorn courtesy of Bank of Commerce. Doors open at 6:00pm with the movie beginning at 7:00pm.

Claremore Super Con is back this year! Make plans and get your tickets early for this February
24th and 25th event. Special guest will include Chuck Huber, Billy West, Walter Jones, and

To round out the month we hope that you can join us in Oklahoma City for Claremore Day at the Capitol! On February 29th, many local organizations will travel to the Capitol and showcase our great City! Stop in and visit with us or some of our local partners while we are there!

The month of February is also when the Rogers County Fair kicks off their Spring activities!
First up is the Livestock Show on February 3rd at the Claremore Expo Center. Next, they will host the Aggie Olympics on Friday February 16th followed by the Spring Horse Show on February 17th & 18th all of which will be held at the Claremore Expo Center!
