Claremore’s March Events by Visit Claremore

The weather is warming up and spring is upon us! Claremore has a variety of events all around town and we can not wait to see you. Whether you are looking for a spring break activity for the kids or a family fun day, we hope you will check out our great community. During the week of March 18th-22nd, The Will Rogers Memorial Museum will be bustling with children. From museum tours to paper airplane contest, kids will enjoy daily activities from 1 pm – 3 pm. Get your green on and join us at 320 on Main March 15th for a traditional Irish Lunch of Bangers and Mash aka sausage and mashed potatoes along with a drink and cookie. The Bangers and Mash lunch sponsored by J Farley’s, will be served from 11 am-1pm and tickets are required. On March 16th head out to Cherokee Casino/Will Rogers Downs for the American Veteran Tours Car and Bike Show. Registration begins at 9 am and the show ends at 3 pm. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to American Veterans so head on out and show your support. The Claremore Home and Garden Show will be March 22nd and 23rd at the Claremore Expo Center. The show will be open on Friday from 10 am – 7 pm and Saturday from 9 am – 6 pm. Whether you are looking for gardening tips, a new roof, hand crafted décor, or starting a home improvement project, vendors will be on site and ready to connect with you during this two-day event. Admission is free.

Finishing out the month is the Claremore Kennel Club Dog Show. Join us at the Claremore Expo Center on March 30th & 31st for this yearly event. From Poodles to Rottweilers, there will be dogs from numerous breeds from all around the country! Spectating is free to the public!

There are some great fundraising events happening all month as well. On March 1st the Will Rogers Memorial Museum will host a Route 66 Fundraiser visit https://www.willrogers.com/rt66 for information. On March 16th the Indian Women’s Pocahontas Club will host their annual “Wild Onions Feast” benefitting their higher education scholarship programs. To finish out the March fundraisers, the United Way of Rogers, Mayes, and Delaware Counties will host their Annual Chocolate, Wine, and More Affair at the Claremore Conference Center on March 26th.
