The Mountain Bike Trail welcomes back the Shoreline Shred on September 7th and 8th. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, this event is a great way to get out and enjoy all the fun our Mountain Bike Trails have to offer. On Saturday Cyclist and non-cyclist can enjoy live Music and festival events. Pre-registration for Sunday’s Shoreline Shred is available at Shoreline Shred Registration (https://www.bikereg.com/shoreline-shred). Race day registration will begin at 8:30am on Sunday and ends 30 minutes prior to each category start.
It’s that time of year again! The Rogers County Fair will be September 12th -15th at the Claremore Expo. Fireworks will kick off the annual event Thursday night around 8:15 and can be seen from the Expo Center parking lot and beyond. Visit the carnival, the County Green Area or shop our County Square. We have live entertainment Thursday, Friday and Saturday night which includes Will Ross, TOOBMZ, Wyatt Justice, Jay Snider, and Emily Hollingshed. Head to the Lilac district in downtown Claremore September 26th for Food Truck Thursday, the monthly food truck and shopping event! This month will be all about the Corporate Olympics where companies compete in fun activities to win the title of Corporate Olympic Champions! While you are downtown cheering on your favorite competing company, be sure to shop some of our downtown shops and grab a bite to eat from one of the food trucks from 6 pm – 9 pm! On September 27th and 28th, car and motorcycle enthusiast will come together for the Route 66 Cruisers 16th Annual Car and Motorcycle Show. The weekend will begin on Friday at 4pm with a Cruise starting at the NeMar Center and heading to Claremore Lake Park. Cruisers will head to Claremore Lake Park where a cook out will be held for car show entries and their guests. Shepherds Cross is hosting their Annual Pumpkin Festival again this year, every Tuesday through Saturday, September 24th – November 2nd from 9am – 6:30 pm. The festival is more than a pumpkin patch, with plenty of family fun inside and out.
