Fall is here and so are CASA of Northeast Oklahoma’s new coffee cup sleeves. They are looking to partner with area businesses who serve coffee to use their coffee cup sleeves to help them increase awareness about who they are, services they provide, and the need for additional volunteer advocates.
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Northeast Oklahoma is a local nonprofit organization that trains volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the court system in northeast Oklahoma. Their mission is to advance the welfare of northeast Oklahoma children through best interest child advocacy and family strengthening efforts that are individualized and culturally sensitive.
“With the increased awareness we are looking to recruit and train needed additional volunteer advocates with the goal that every abused and neglected child in northeast Oklahoma has a CASA volunteer appointed to represent his or her best interests. Right now, there are more children needing a volunteer advocate than there are volunteer advocates available,” said Emily Bowling, Executive Director, CASA of Northeast Oklahoma.
Each coffee cup sleeve includes CASA of Northeast Oklahoma’s name and logo on the front and a QR Code on the back where information can be found regarding how someone can help change the lives of foster children and families for the better.
“In the future we are also planning to hold “Coffee Chat” events at participating locations where the public will be invited to come in and have a cup of coffee and learn how they can help change a child’s life for the better,” said Bowling, “CASA believes healthy families create healthy communities.”
If your business is interested in partnering with CASA of Northeast Oklahoma and use their coffee cup sleeves, at no cost to the business, email mark@casneok.org and they will deliver them to you.
